Female Athlete of the Week-Autumn Dake

RedTail dancer Autumn Dake has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the UDA College Nationals in Orlando, FL on January 14.

Autumn really stepped up while the team was preparing for Nationals. She was adaptable in practice with a "can do" attitude when she had many changes in each dance thrown at her. She continued to take corrections in order to improve and her hard work has really paid off. Autumn has grown so much as a dancer not only in skills, but also in her confidence on the floor from last year to this year and has been a joy to watch grow.

"Autumn has been so fun to coach and watch grow the past two seasons," said coach Carrie Peiffer. "She worked hard at practice, and her adaptability in changing formations before Nationals really showed how much of a team player she is."

Dake is originally from Sibley, IA.
