RedTail Dance Team Hosts Camp and Showcase for Young Dancers

On Saturday, April 5, the dance team hosted 23 preschool through third grade boys and girls at the HESC for a day of fun and dance. The young, aspiring dancers were taught a routine by the Hawkeye Dance Team during the camp portion of the day, and it was then performed at the dance team's showcase later that evening. 

"The RedTail Dance Team had quite the busy day on campus Saturday, April 5," said head dance coach Abby Kopriva. "We hosted 23 boys and girls for our prek-3rd grade dance camp. The dance that we taught at the dance camp was later performed at our showcase. Our showcase had such a fantastic turn out. Thank you to all the performances brought by: Allison's Dance Center, North Tama High School, and our two future dancers joining 25-26, Kaeley and Lillian. Everyone did an amazing job!"
