RedTail Bowling Competes at Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic

ADDISON, ILL.–The RedTail Men's Bowling team faced tough competition at the Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic on January 14-15, 2023.

Alex Sturbaum was the highest finisher for the RedTails, totaling 957 pins over five games. Sturbaum placed 147th out of 469. Simon Larsen was the second highest finisher, coming in at 157th place. Larsen knocked down 948 pins over the weekend, and scored 237 during his fourth game. Kalen Recker and Casey Christensen finished side by side, totaling 906 and 905 pins respectively. 

As a team, the RedTails scored 7952 pins over the weekend. According to coach Roger Taylor, "They couldn't get comfortable with the lane conditions and never could really find their groove." The RedTails finished in 65th out of a 71 team field.
