Male Athlete of the Week- Simon Larsen

RedTail Bowling student-athlete Simon Larsen has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performance at Hawkeye on February 11-12.

Larsen made the All Tournament Team for his first time and for the program's first time this season. He had games of 229, 227, 224, 220, 215, for a 1,115 five game total. Larsen finished third, averaging 223 for his five games.

"Simon spends a lot of time working on his game and he's been close to making the cut for other All Tournament Team showings at multiple events and he was finally able to make it happen," said coach Roger Taylor. "What made it special was the fact that it was at our home tournament and he was throwing one of his grandfather's old bowling balls to do it."

Larsen is originally from Waterloo, IA.
