Kody Kleen | SCHEELS Male Athlete of the Week

Kody Kleen of the Hawkeye Community College Bowling team has been named the SCHEELS Male Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Mid Iowa Bowling Conference Tournament #3 in Cedar Rapids.

Kleen was the RedTails' highest finisher at the event, placing 16th overall. He posted games of 185, 231, and 194, finishing with a total pinfall of 610 and an impressive 203.3 average across the tournament. His strong showing capped off the final MIB Conference event of the season on a high note.

"Kody was at his best this past weekend and has really been what we'd call a steady presence for us all season," said head coach Roger Taylor. "He's worked hard to become more consistent and accurate, and that effort paid off in a big way. He stayed composed, trusted his process, and delivered when it mattered."

Kleen's consistency and reliability have been key assets for the RedTails throughout the season as they continue building toward postseason competition.
