Coach Roger Taylor had a lot to say about the Kohawk Invite, starting off with the women's side, saying, "The RedTails had their final regular season tournament for the 2025-2026 school year, down in Cedar Rapids, hosted by the Coe College Kohawks. The women started off on Saturday a little slow, but definitely found their groove on Sunday during bakers. They just couldn't get comfortable during the team games on Saturday, and were able to find their stride and worked really well as a team, and had some really good baker sets, higher than their previous baker performances from other events. High on the women's side was Kylee Kirchner, who finished in 22nd place out of 118 players. Kylee averaged 185.6 for her five games, and Kiyrah Karstens was right behind Kylee in 45th place, averaging 161.4."
Finally, talking about the men's performance, stating, "On the men's side, they faced very similar obstacles, and with some tougher teams, they didn't climb as much as the women did. Individually, it was Isaiah Sample who continued his dominance of the season and averaged 201.2 for his five games, which put him in 36th place out of 164 players. Following Isaiah, Tyson Bramble found himself in 53rd place, averaging 190.6."
Coach Taylor finishes off his quote with talk about the rest of the season, saying "The RedTails have a few weeks to recoup from the jam-packed second half of the season, but we will use that time to prepare for our NJCAA National Championship that will be held in Lansing, Michigan, during the first week of March."
