Hawkeye RedTails Golf Competes at Southeastern Community College

BURLINGTON, IA- The Hawkeye Community College RedTails golf team traveled to Southeastern Community College (SCC) for competition Tuesday, September 20. This is the first golf invitational SCC has ever hosted. Hawkeye finished sixth at the invitational closing the competition with a total score of 370. Southwestern Community College (SWCC) placed first, scoring 318. Following SWCC was Highland College, with a score of 331.

There were three RedTails who placed in the top 30 at the invitational. Eric Krull led the individual results for Hawkeye by placing 13^th, with a score of 83. Brandt Culbertson placed 28^th with a final score of 93. Coming in close behind Cublertson, was Jacob Meester, who finished 30^th with a total of 94.

The RedTails golf team is scheduled to compete again Friday, September 30. Competition will be held at Iowa Central Community College. Tee off is set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
