RedTail Golf Places Third at NIACC Invite

The Hawkeye RedTail Men's Golf Team placed third at the NIACC Invite on Friday, September 18. The team finished with a score of 305 on the day.

RedTails had four players placing in the top 15. Austin Reynolds and Tom Bell lead the team with scores of 73 and 76 respectively. Reynolds' score led to a tie for fourth place and Bell tied for tenth place. Close behind was Ethan Streicher and Zach Teske, who tied for 13th with a score of 78.

Head coach, Micah Destival said: "Everyone had some nice stretches of playing today but we struggled team-wise to overcome a few correctable mistakes. Always fun to play against good competition and the guys will learn from this and keep getting better."

The RedTails will be back in action for the Wartburg Invite on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26.
