RedTails Compete in the DMACC Invite

The RedTail Men's Golf team competed at Monday's DMACC Invite, scoring a combined 318 at Ames Golf & Country Club in Ames.

The RedTails were led by Zach Teske, who shot a 75 on the day to tie for 13th place. This was a personal best for Teske. Ethan Streicher followed with a score of 77 tieing for 23rd. Shooting an 81 for the day was Austin Reynolds tieing for 41st. Colin Kitson followed with an 85 on the day tying for 55th. For the second team, Reid McFarland shot a personal best with a score of 77 on the day.

"Tough conditions today with a gusty wind and I thought we played really well through most stretches but ultimately had too many big numbers," said head coach Micah Destival. "It was great to see personal bests out of Zach Teske and Reid McFarland."

The RedTails will be back in action on Wednesday, October 6, at Hunter's Ridge in the Kirkwood Invite.
