RedTails Place 2nd in Clarke Invite

GALENA, ILL.–The RedTails Golf team placed second with a total score of 614 for the two-day Clarke Invite tournament on September 17 and 18, scoring 311 on day one and 303 on day two. 

Tom Bell was the overall winner of the tournament scoring a total of 148 shooting 77 on the first day and 71 on the second day. Sacha Brown tied for fourth overall with a score of 150 shooting 74 on day one and 76 on day two. Shooting a score of 158, Grant Dekruyf tied for 13th shooting 80 on day one and 78 on day two. Placing 17th was Luke Galeazzi scoring 80 on both days for a total score of 160. Melker Anderson tied for 28th scoring 165, shooting 87 on day one and 78 on day two. 

 "We are very excited to have a runner-up finish in this large field as we continue to improve as a team," says coach Micah Destival. "Congratulations to Tom Bell for being the overall winner and Sacha Brown for coming in tied for 4th. The guys have been putting in the effort and it's starting to pay off."

Next up for the RedTails Golf team is the Wartburg Invite on September 24-25.
