Male Athlete of the Week-Tom Bell

RedTail golfer Tom Bell has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performances out on the courses so far this season.

Tom has had a good couple of weeks winning two tournaments and being runner up in another. He shot 70-71 to win the DMACC Invite and 74-77-75 to place second at the Battle of Waterloo and a 67 to win the NIACC Invite. Tom is looking forward to competing at Mt. Mercy on Thursday, April 21.

"Tom has had a very good year and this may well have been his best week playing given the temps and weather we faced during these two tournaments," said coach Micah Destival. "Tom bested a very good field at DMACC to come home with the win and played great to finish second in our home tournament even though the temps were cold and the wind was high."

Bell is originally from High Wycombe, England.
