Male Athlete of the Week-Luke Galeazzi

RedTail Golfer Luke Galeazzi has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Clarke Fall Invite at Eagle Ridge - The General Course on September 1 in Galena, Illinois.

Luke has a spectacular outing at Eagle Ridge playing the last four holes in near darkness and coming out on top to win his first-ever college tournament and helping the RedTail men's team come in fifth overall.

"Luke had a great first week of the season," said head coach Micah Destival. "Finishing fifth and then playing a great round on a tough setup to earn his first college win at Galena."

"It was an incredible feeling to get my first collegiate win on such a difficult golf course," said Luke. "It makes me even more excited for the rest of the season to see what myself and the team can accomplish!"

Galeazzi is originally from Knoxville, Iowa.
