RedTail Men's Golf Competes at Ottawa Spring Invite

LAWRENCE, KS–The RedTail Men's Golf team competed at the Ottawa Spring Invite on March 6-7 in Lawrence, Kansas. The team scored 318 and 312 on each day with a total score of 630, which landed them in 11th place.

Luke Galaezzi led the team in T29, scoring a 155 (76-79), followed by Sacha Brown with a 156 (T36, 78-78), Austin Reynolds with a 158 (T43, 80-78), Melker Andersson with a 160 (T51, 81-79), Grant Dekruyf with a 161 (T53, 85-76), Max Mauman with a 166 (T62, 81-85), and Emil Christensen with a 171 (69th, 86-85).

​​"It was great to get back outside after the winter and play off of grass instead of a mat," said coach Micah Destival. " We did some good things and players had some nice stretches of golf while maintaining appropriate expectations for our first trip outside for the spring season. Looking forward to the spring season with this group and seeing how much we have improved since the fall."
