RedTail Men’s Golf Finds Success at Graceland
MARYVILLE, MO–The RedTail Men's Golf Team had a successful weekend at the Graceland Spring Invite this past weekend.
The RedTails played two rounds over the weekend, and were challenged with a par 72 course with rolling hills, breeze, and chilly spring weather.
Sophomore Austin Reynolds led the pack in his scores, starting with a 76 on his first round, and finishing the weekend with a 73. Reynolds scored fourth overall in the men's bracket. Another top 10 finisher was Grant Dekruyf.
"We got off to a great start in round one even with some not ideal weather conditions, but just didn't have things clicking in the second round when the conditions were better," head coach Micah Destival said. "Everyone had nice stretches of play and Austin played a great tournament to end up fourth and Grant also had a top 10 finish."
Overall, the RedTails had a solid finish, placing third overall with elevenotal teams. We look forward to seeing what the rest of the season holds.
