RedTail Men's Golf Places Third at Upper Iowa Invite

WATERLOO–The RedTail Men's Golf team competed at the Upper Iowa Invite in Waterloo, IA, on April 7-8 where they scored third out of eleven teams with a combined score of 624.

Grant Dekruyf and Austin Reynolds placed T10 with a score of 153, with 72-81(Dekruyf) and 76-77(Reynolds) respectively.

Melker Andersson placed T20 with a score of 155, 79-78 respectively.

Luke Galeazzi placed T45 with a score of 164, 80-84 respectively.

Sacha Brown placed T48 with a score of 165, 84-81 respectively.

Max Naumann placed T79 with a score of 179, 92-87 respectively.

"It was nice to get back on the course after some time off," said coach Micah Destival. "We came out in the first round and played pretty well on a difficult golf course.  On the second day, we struggled a bit on the last six holes, but hung on to third place.  Hopefully, we can tidy up a few things as our spring season progresses and continue to improve our scores."
