RedTail Men's Golf Competes at Battle of Waterloo
The RedTail Men's Golf team competed at the Battle of Waterloo on April 14-15 placing second and seventh out of both RedTail teams.
The Orange Team led with a total score of 900 and a second place finish. Austin Reynolds and Melker Andersson finished in T2 with scores of 220 (Reynolds 71-76-73, Andersson 74-74-72). Sacha Brown finished in T13 with a score of 230 (71-78-81), followed by Grant Dekruyf in T15 with a score of 231 (73-81-77). Luke Galeazzi rounded out the competition for the Orange team with a finish in 29th and a score of 237 (75-82-80).
The Blue Team had a total score of 954 and a seventh place finish. Broc Shaw finished in T23 with a score of 233 (75-79-79), followed by Emil Christensen in T30 with a score of 238 (75-86-77). Max Maumann placed 37th with a score of 241 (82-81-78), Ethan Farrell and Kody Hoeger finished in T38 with a score of 246 (Farrell 79-79-88, Hoeger 81-85-80), Carson Slezak finished in 43rd with a score of 253 (79-87-87).
"We did a lot of good things over the two days to build upon for the rest of our season," said coach Micah Destival. "Melker and Austin played three solid rounds to earn runner-up finishes and we got several decent rounds out of everyone else as well. We are looking forward to working on things this coming week to get ready for Fox Ridge on Friday."
