RedTail Men's Golf Competes at North Central District Championship

WATERLOO–The RedTail Men's Golf team competed at the North Central District Championships on May 2, placing eighth of eleven with a total team score of 999.

Individually, Austin Reynolds and Melker Andersson led the pack with a T26 place finish and a total of 249. Reynolds scored 85-78-86 and Andersson scored 80-83-86. Grant Dekruyf placed 29th with a score of 250 (89-81-80), Sacha Brown placed 34th with a score of 254 (83-84-87), and Luke Galeazzi placed 42nd with a score of 264 (86-88-90).

"This wasn't the outcome we were looking for, but this group had a great two year run at Hawkeye and we are proud of how they represented themselves as RedTails," said coach Micah Destival. "Thank you to Bill Sutton for another great year of coaching this group.  We are looking forward to following these guys as they move on next fall."
