Hawkeye Wraps Up Season at District Tournament

The RedTails men's golf team wrapped up their season at the district tournament on May 5, finishing eighth overall. Preston Martens led the way for Hawkeye, carding a +24 over par performance.

Coach Micah Destival reflected on both the tournament and the season as a whole. "We played a decent end-of-the-year district tournament which in many ways was how we played all year, good stretches of golf followed by too many big numbers," Destival said. "It was a fun year with the sophomores, and I'm looking forward to the returners continuing to develop their game."
