Athanasios Papagiannopoulos Commits to Hawkeye for Men’s Soccer

SOUTH AUSTRALIA - Athanasios Papagiannopoulos is making the trek over the Pacific Ocean to Waterloo, where he will continue his collegiate soccer career at Hawkeye Community College.

Papagiannopoulos has been playing soccer since he was three years old, mostly as a forward and midfielder. He plans to study exercise science and kinesiology while at Hawkeye.

"I'm really excited and privileged to be a part of the Hawkeye Community College Soccer Program," says Papagiannopoulos. "I'm really looking forward to being a part of the Hawkeye Community College soccer team and being able to have the opportunity to help develop myself as a soccer player, along with being a key part of the team to help reach our goals."
