RedTail Men’s Track and Field Lands Decorated Mid-Distance Runner

Danville high school alumni Mason Chipman has committed to run track for the Hawkeye RedTails. 

Head track and field coach Tyler Mulder gave his thoughts on the incoming recruit. "Mason is a high achiever, he'll work hard in the classroom and on the track!  Very excited to see what he brings to contribute to the team for the 800m," stated Mulder. Chipman was a part of Danville's state championship 4X400 meter relay team this past spring, as well as being on the runner-up 4X800 relay team.

Chipman plans to study Liberal Arts while attending Hawkeye Community College.
