"I was very pleased with our men's 4x400m relay, which hit the qualifying mark for the NJCAA National Championship in Hobbs, NM in May," said coach Scott Roberts. " Each man on that relay ran strong legs and really showed a lot of grit in defeating several NCAA Division I and Division II schools. Dart Beaver also met the qualifying standard in the 3000m steeple-chase. This was his first steeple-chase of the year for Dart and he came through in fine fashion. We have several other student-athletes that are close to national qualifying marks, including Noah Sheridan, who is just .66 from hitting the qualifying standard. It was our first real warm meet-day, which was good, but it was also extremely windy which made the straight-away quite a challenge. Overall, I was pleased with our performances against solid competition and windy conditions."
