Ryan Leonard | SCHEELS Male Athlete of the Week

Ryan Leonard of the Hawkeye Community College Track Team has been named the SCHEELS Male Athlete of the Week following his performance at the NJCAA Region 11 Indoor Championships in Buena Vista, IA. 

Leonard led the way for the redtails, setting the school record for the Heptathlon with a total of 4009 points. Ryan left his mark in the heptathlon competing in multiple different events in the heptathlon. 

As the Redtail track and field team heads towards nationals Ryan and the team look to bring the momentum toward indoor nationals.
