Shaffer Signs with RedTail Track and Field

Hawkeye Community College is excited to welcome Syler Shaffer from Panorama Community School in Woodbine, Iowa, to the Men's Track and Field program.

Syler comes to the RedTails with six years of experience competing in the hurdles. A dedicated hurdler looking to make an immediate impact on the track, he is ready to bring his competitive drive to the collegiate ranks. While training with the team, Syler plans to study Sustainable Construction at Hawkeye.

"I am excited to join the program and keep pushing the pace!!" Shaffer shared.
