Men’s Cross Country Places 3rd at Trent Smith Invite
MASON CITY–The RedTails placed third overall in the second 8k of the season at the Trent Smith Invite on October 8.
D'Artagnon Beaver finished first for the RedTails and fourth overall with a time of 27:24.25. Cooper Olsen finished next for the RedTails and ninth overall with a time of 28:25.86. Finishing 10th overall with a time of 28:30.70 was Stephen Thomas. Harrison Vanderlinden finished 15th overall with a time of 29:18.89. Dodson Melchiori finished 16th with a time of 29:19.45.
"The men's team performed much better this time under warm conditions," says coach Tyler Mulder. "D'Artagnon has really proven to be our number one runner! We're finding more confidence each race and each meet the team gels more. Excited to see how we progress to the next meet!"
Next up for the RedTails in the Indian Hills Invite on October 15.
