Men’s Cross Country Competes at the NJCAA Championships
RICHMOND, VA–The men's cross country wrapped up the season running an 8K at the NJCAA Championships on November 13.
D'Artagnon Beaver was the highest finishing RedTail, placing 22nd in Division II with a time of 26:33.5 beating his personal time and earning All-American Status. Next was Cooper Olson with a time of 28:23.0. Tyler Colvin was the next RedTail to cross the finish line with a time of 28:42.2. Stephen Thomas was right behind finishing with a time of 28:50.4.The next RedTail to finish was Harrison Vanderlinden finished with a time of 29:09.2. Dodson Melchiori finished with a time of 29:26.7
"Overall the men wanted to finish a bit higher, but I felt like they really competed well and ran as a strong pack for our second, third, fourth, and fifth runners," says coach Tyler Mulder. "I think it was valuable experience for our freshman and was happy to see them compete amongst the NJCAA's best."
