RedTails Win Against Northeast Iowa Community College
JACKSON JUNCTION–The sports shooting team went up against Northeast Iowa Community College on October 15 and won, shooting 483 birds.
Matthew Rippel led the RedTails, shooting 98 birds and placing first overall. Cougan Shropshire was right behind in second place, shooting 97 birds. Jeb Collins finished third overall, shooting 96 birds. Jake Maakestad and Carter Thompson both shot 96 birds. Britlynn Klaas led the female division shooting 91 birds. In second place was Alexis Teribury, shooting 84 birds. Hanna Saland shot 83 birds and finished in third place.
"We took one more step toward an undefeated season, and ICCAC East Division championship," says coach Troy Emery. "These were the most challenging wind conditions we have had all season; this will prepare us for future competitions. The experience we gain today will give us confidence."
