RedTail Women’s Bowling Finishes Season at NJCAA Nationals
LANSING, MICHIGAN- The RedTail Women's Bowling Team finished in fourth place with a score of 5357 at the NJCAA Nationals in Lansing, Michigan on March 3.
Leading the RedTails, Whitney Morse was the highest scorer with a 2,205 for her 12 games, which put her at 11th place. Right behind Morse, Hannah Axline finished in 12th place with a score of 2,192.
Following close behind Morse and Axline, Kimberly Hendricks placed 13th with a score of 2,170 for her 12 games.
"From time to time, the RedTails witnessed some transition in the bowling conditions that they were uncomfortable with and this affected their shot making. However, with a lot of young blood on the teams, a 4th place finish and a 5th place finish respectively, isn't a bad way to end the season," said assistant coach Roger Taylor. "Now we look forward to what's ahead and try to build on what we have and make things better to make sure we are at the top next year!"
