Female Athlete of the Week-Madison Shontz

RedTail bowler Madison Shontz has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Five Seasons Classic in Cedar Rapids on October 29 and 30.

Madison finished the highest out of the women's team in Cedar Rapids this past weekend at the season opener. She finished in 33rd place out of 116 players, with an average of 174.2 for her five games. Madison scored a total of 871 with her highest in game two with 195.

"Madison is one of our captains and she leads by example in the classroom and on the lanes," said head coach Roger Taylor. "She is always keeping the energy up and cheering on her teammates. She was an instrumental part of the team this past weekend and thrived in the anchor position during our baker games."
