Female Athlete of the Week-Lauren Funk

RedTail bowler Lauren Funk has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the McKendree Tournament in Fairview Heights, Illinois on November 19 and 20.

Lauren was one of the highest finishers for our girls, placing in 68th with a 168 average at the McKendree Tournament. She is a high-energy individual that really feeds into the team to keep them pumped. Her high speed provides for a strong strike shot. Lauren had games of 161, 170, 204, 169, and 140, which put her in 68th place out of 130 bowlers.

"Lauren is one of our top performers and keeps herself to a high standard to make great shots every time we compete," said head coach Roger Taylor. "Her high ball speed provides for a strong and powerful strike ball."
