Female Athlete of the Week- Emma Pitz

RedTail Bowling student-athlete Emma Pitz has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at Hawkeye on February 11-12.

Pitz is one of Hawkeye's captains on the women's side and stands out for her positive attitude. She always cheers on her teammates and never lets them get down on themselves. Pitz finished in 34th place at the home tournament this past weekend, averaging a 175 for her five games, which is 20 pins over her season average. Pitz had games of 151, 174, 162, 179, 209, reaching a total of 875.

"Emma is a great team player and always keeps things fun," said coach Roger Taylor. "Her funny antics keeps her teammates loose and relaxed. Emma also has a really great work ethic. She is always working on her game and trying to make whatever improvements she can to better herself and the team."
