RedTails Compete at Kegel ISBPA Collegiate Classic
The RedTails traveled to Addison, Illinois, for the Kegel ISBPA Collegiate Classic tournament January 17-18. With it being a Tier 1 event, this was one of the biggest tournaments of the season.
The event featured a total of 55 women's teams and 68 men's teams, which attracted a lot of the toughest teams in the country. Both teams faced their fair share of challenges, while trying to attack a very demanding oil pattern, with the men ultimately finishing in 58th and the women finishing in 51st.
Isaiah Sample led the way for the men, finishing in 121st with a 195.6 average for his 5 games. Kiyrah Karstens finished in 136th place averaging 172.4.
Right behind Isaiah and Kiyrah were Tyson Bramble with a 183.2 average and Kylee Kirchner with a 161 average.
"We may have had some struggles this weekend, but they fought hard and charged forward," said head coach Roger Taylor "Both teams tried as hard as they could. From here we will focus on the MIB Conference Championship."
