Female Athlete of the Week- Chase Doland

RedTail Golf student-athlete Chase Doland has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for their performances throughout the athletic season.

Doland won her first tournament of her collegiate career firing an 86 at Burlington Golf Club in the Southeastern CC Spring Invite.  She finished the week being runner-up in the Battle of Waterloo shooting rounds of 86-85. 1st place and a runner up finish this past week. She followed that up the next week, winning the Southeastern CC Invite. She shot an 86 and won by 4 strokes. Doland placed T27 at the NJCAA Plains District Tournament this past weekend with a score of 173.

"Chase has worked hard all year and it was nice to be rewarded with her first win of her collegiate career," said head coach Micah Destival. "It's always difficult playing a golf course for the first time especially in tournament conditions, but Chase played a good round and earned the win."

Doland is originally from Waterloo, IA.
