Female Rising RedTail Award: Chloe Allan
The Rising RedTail Award recognizes student-athletes who have overcome obstacles and risen above to succeed both on and off the field. Their perseverance through adversity, whether personal, academic, or sport related exemplifies what it means to rise above all odds.
Coming to Hawkeye from across the pond, this student-athlete has persevered through injuries throughout her time as a RedTail. Her freshman season was limited, and anyone who knows her knows how hard it is to keep her out of a game. She is a leader on the field, and turned her academics around from her freshman year to her sophomore year with nothing but sheer determination. She earned First Team All-Region this past season after rebounding from her injuries, and even garnered ICCAC Athlete of the Week twice. She was instrumental in taking the women's team to the most successful season thus far, scoring 18 goals and registering 4 assists while scoring in every conference game this past year. Her perseverance and determination earned her multiple offers at four-year institutions, where she will play for Minot State next season. This year's Female Rising RedTail award goes to Chloe Allan of women's soccer!
