WATERLOO–RedTail Women's Soccer scored a 3-0 victory at home against NIACC on October 26, in the second round of playoffs.
The RedTails entered the second round of playoffs coming off of a nice win against Marshalltown in the first round. Started off slow in their second round matchup against NIACC with no goals in the first half so going into half time the score remained 0-0. In the second half the RedTails would get it going with a goal from Jacque Kuester assisted by Grace Heddens at the 57 minute mark. The RedTails would build their lead from there with another goal two minutes later again from Jacue Kuester assisted by Ellie Gutcher. The RedTails would add another goal late in the game with a goal by Grace Heddens assisted by Libby Keown to give the RedTails a 3-0 lead that would hold the rest of the game giving them the victory.
The RedTails next matchup will be on the road Sunday, October 30, at 1:00pm. against Northeast Community College for the Region 11 Tournament - Championship.
