On Wednesday, October 22, the RedTails hosted their final regular-season matchup, taking on the University of Northern Iowa's club team. The RedTails closed out the season in dominant fashion, earning an impressive 11–0 victory and building valuable momentum heading into postseason play.
Although the team took a bit of time to find their rhythm early on, the RedTails quickly adjusted their approach after recognizing that spreading out UNI's defense created more space and scoring opportunities. The result was an offensive showcase, with goals coming from several different players — a testament to the team's depth, chemistry, and collective effort.
As the postseason begins, the RedTails are ready to bring energy, focus, and determination to every match. With several previously injured players now cleared and back in action, the squad is confident and eager to test their full potential.
Seeded fourth in the regional tournament, the RedTails will host No. 8–seeded Western Iowa Tech in the first round on Saturday, October 25. With home-field advantage and momentum on their side, the RedTails are prepared to carry their regular-season success into the next stage of competition.
