HAWKEYE WOMEN’S SOCCER SIGNS ENGLAND’S HOLLY BROUGH
Hawkeye Community College is excited to announce the addition of Holly Brough, a versatile left back and central defensive midfielder from Sheffield, England, to the RedTail Women's Soccer program. Brough currently attends UTC Olympic Legacy Park and Sheffield United Community College and will pursue a Kinesiology & Exercise Science Transfer Major at Hawkeye.
Holly has been playing soccer since the age of five, developing into a composed, intelligent, and technical player capable of impacting the game on both sides of the ball. Her ability to defend, distribute, and read the match allows her to contribute in multiple positions—bringing depth and flexibility to Hawkeye's roster.
As she prepares to make the move to the United States, Holly shared her excitement about joining the RedTails:
"I am excited and looking forward to joining HCC both academically and with the soccer team. Having played football since the age of 5, I am ready to test myself in new environments with new challenges that I believe Hawkeye will offer me."
Holly's experience, adaptability, and passion for the game make her a strong fit for the culture and competitive expectations of the Hawkeye program.
