Morgan Thompson Joins Hawkeye RedTails Track and Field Team

WATERLOO–Hawkeye Community College welcomes women's track and field athlete Morgan Thompson to the RedTails family.

Thompson is a recent graduate of Clarksville High School, where she holds three school records, including the open 100M dash. Her personal best 100M is 13.3 seconds and her best 200M is 27.6 seconds. She competed at the Drake Relays and Iowa State High School Track and Field Championships this spring as part of Clarksville's 4x100 relay team and was on the state-qualifying sprint medley relay team. Thompson was also involved in student council and band during high school.

She is the daughter of Todd and Dorsey Thompson of Clarksville and plans to enroll in the Liberal Arts Transfer program.
