RedTails Defeat the Braves 3-0
MOLINE–The RedTails emerged victorious against the Black Hawk College-Moline Braves after winning 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-17) on Tuesday, August 24.
The Braves put up a fight in each set, but in the end the RedTails were able to come out on top. The RedTails won 25-18 in set 1. Set 2 was the same for the RedTails as they won 25-18.. In the last set the RedTails won 25-17 taking home the match win.
Amber Rickert led the team in kills with 9. Emily Clapp was right behind with 6.
"We played the serve serve receive game well and fought to stay in system. Our offense did a great job keeping everyone involved," says coach Coach Wolfensperger.
The RedTails will play their first home game of the season against Des Moines Area Community College on Sunday, August 29, at 2:00 p.m.
