Female Athlete of the Week-Allie Driscol

RedTail Volleyball student-athlete Allie Driscol has been named Scheels Female Athlete of the Week for her performances both on and off the court.

Allie is a freshman setter for the RedTail volleyball team. She is just coming off the fall season and has started off strong this spring season with a few scrimmages between Iowa Central Community College and Des Moines Area Community College. On top of that, Allie is this year's secretary for the RedTails Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

"Allie is always working really hard and has a great attitude," said coach Tyann Wolfensperger. "She is playing out of position this spring and doing a great job!"

"It's fun to get out on the court and compete again as well as trying new things and building on my skill set," says Allie. "I think we played really hard as a team and plan to continue the same mentality in the upcoming season. I'm excited to see what this team will accomplish next season!"

Driscol is originally from La Porte City.
