Athlete of the Week: Ryann Porch

Hawkeye sophomore Ryann Porch was named the RedTail athlete of the week for her performance at the 27th Annual Mustang Gallop on September 25.
On Friday, Porch competed in the 5K competition. She ran a time of 19:53.47 to place second overall. This is also Proch's third race this season under the 20-minute mark, consistently in the top four in each race. She also just completed her longest run ever going 13.4 miles.
"Ryann has been really clicking on all cylinders. Head coach Tyler Mulder said, She's gonna compete very well come regionals and nationals. "
Porch will be competing next in the NIACC Trent Smith competition in Mason City on October 9.
