Female Athlete of the Week-Emma Hoins

WATERLOO-RedTail cross country runner Emma Hoins has been named Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in the NJCAA Championships on November 13.

Hoins finished third overall for Division II with a time of 18:43.9. She broke the school record and earned All-American Status.

"Emma ran her fastest time of the year at the perfect time at the National Meet, she ran the last 200m of her race very well," says coach Tyler Mulder. "I'm very proud of her for being the third best runner in the NJCAA!" 

Hoins is originally from Waverly, Iowa.
