RedTail Women’s Sports Shooting Team Starts Their Season
CEDAR FALLS–The RedTail Women's sports shooting team started off their season strong at the ISTA Championships on April 24.
Alexis Teribury and Grace Eisenbarth did very well on the women's side of the High-Over-All, which includes skeet, sporting clays, and trap-singles. Teribury earned fourth place, shooting 332 birds, and Eisenbarth earned fifth place, shooting 330 birds. Teribury also earned individual medals in sporting clays for second place and trap-singles for fifth place. Eisenbarth also earned two individual medals. She received third place for skeet and sporting clays.
"These RedTails are the best team we have ever had at Hawkeye Community College. We have
many talented RedTails who will be leaving us this season, but the recruiting goes on, and the future looks bright," said head coach Troy Emley.
Next up for the RedTails is the International Skeet Championship on May 14.
